Little Bear Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm animal sanctuary that provides a permanent home for farm animals that have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned in order to allow them to live out the remainder of their lives in a cruelty free environment. We are committed not only to a vegan lifestyle but the much needed education of pigs as pets. Our animals are never kept in cages or pens and are free to roam in their natural habitat.
We are Global Federation of Animal Sanctuary (GFAS) verified and independent agency that verifies true animal sanctuaries who are committed to transparency and the best animal care and practices.
About the film
It is a film about pigs, cows and chicken. Black and white. Without words. Without music. Victor Kossakovsky is offering not just a mesmerizing poetic work of art but also a wonderful life experience. We get to know Gunda the sow, her family and neighbors, and it gives us the reason to think about the secret of consciousness and the value of life of those with whom we share this planet.
