"Film Fest Drive-In" presents John Lewis: Good Trouble and social justice short films
Enjoy the first of three nights of film this fall at the roving drive-in. This first event is a collaboration with Black Alphabet Cincy and Cincy Black Pride, Black Cincinnati Cinema Collective and the 48 Hour Film Project, Mayerson JCC Jewish & Israeli Film Festival, OutReels Cincinnati, and Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival, organized by LADD, with promotional support from Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center.
About the film
The timely biopic focuses on John Lewis’ longstanding prominence as a civil rights champion and his continuing crusade for racial and social equality. The documentary illuminates the 80-year-old Congressman’s life as it chronicles the moments on the extraordinary journey that have shaped his place in history and make him such a galvanizing figure today as protests circle the globe.
